Beyond the front door

Showcasing Lakeway Properties with Professional Real Estate Photography

The outdoor spaces deserve a place in the story.

For many Lakeway listings, the story continues well beyond the living room.

A view, a shaded terrace, the transition from the kitchen to the pool, or a quiet corner of the lot can be central to how a property feels. Professional listing photography should make those relationships visible while still giving buyers a clear understanding of the interior.

Start with a readable exterior and a simple path through the home. Then use outdoor images to show what daily life could look like: where people gather, how spaces open to the yard, and whether a view is part of the experience. Not every Lakeway property has a lake view, so the images should show the actual setting rather than suggest one that is not there.

Make space for the surroundings.

When a property does have a meaningful view or a large site, an aerial perspective may clarify what ground-level photos cannot. It can show the relationship between the home, the lot, and nearby landscape without promising more than the property offers.

The time of day matters as well. Daylight can keep interiors open and legible, while a carefully timed twilight frame can highlight exterior lighting and the mood of an outdoor gathering area. The best choice depends on the home and the story the listing needs to tell.

Inside and out

The property, in context.

01 / Interior

Show how rooms connect and where natural light enters.

02 / Outdoors

Give patios, pools, decks, and yards the same care as the rooms inside.

03 / Perspective

Add aerial images when they clarify a real view, lot, or relationship to the landscape.

Outdoor images help explain how the home is meant to be enjoyed.

Whether the defining feature is a view, an outdoor room, or the light inside, the shot list should begin with what is actually special about the property. We can help shape that list before the shoot.

Before you book

Give each addition a clear purpose.

A residential shoot usually begins with interior and exterior stills. A commercial Lakeway assignment may also need building access, work areas, a property film, or a self-guided tour. Tell us which audiences and uses the finished media should serve so the coverage reflects the actual brief.

Two photo enhancements are easy to confuse: digital twilight converts a daytime image into an evening presentation, currently $35 per photo with a primary service; virtual staging adds a furnishing concept to a room photograph. Staged images should be labeled and accompanied by the original view. Neither changes the physical property or the contents of a 3D scan.

Share the preferred light and atmosphere, but keep the editing true to the property. Confirm the staging quote, custom video or tour scope, and delivery needs through the project conversation. The current pricing page separates the photo, scan, and twilight choices.
