Two ways to show a space
Matterport partners with Google Street View

Matterport and Google Street View can both help people preview a place, but they serve different destinations. A navigable property tour and a business view on Google should each be planned for the audience who will use it.
Choose the experience for each destination.
An interactive Matterport space can let a visitor move through rooms at their own pace. Street View imagery, when appropriate and accepted by Google, can introduce a verified business location in a different setting. A Street View presentation in Maps is not the same interface as a Matterport showcase on a website.
Plan the capture and publishing destination separately. A useful brief names the entrance, public areas, private spaces, intended viewer, and account permissions before anyone starts scanning.
Confirm the publishing path.
Start with the business location and its profile manager. Verify the address, account permissions, areas to capture, and whether Google Street View publication is appropriate. Ask for a scoped quote that separates the Street View deliverable from any additional Matterport tour or still photography.
No upload can promise placement, rankings, traffic, or specific third-party features. The film below illustrates immersive ways to show a space; confirm the currently available capture and publishing options for your project.
A useful plan
Keep the platforms distinct.
01 / Purpose
Choose the viewer’s path.
Decide what visitors need to understand first.
02 / Destinations
Separate the players.
Matterport on a site differs from Street View in Maps.
03 / Booking
Confirm the current scope.
Check account, address, privacy, and publication.
Selected portfolio
Two destinations, different views.
